OUR ECO-FRIENDLY CABINS

RUSTIC CABIN GET-AWAY

* Minimum 2 Night Stay - maximum occupancy 2 adults, no children or pets.

There are currently 2 couples’ eco cabins on site, each with their own private parking area.

Each recently refurbished cabin has been designed for couples only and are unsuitable for children or pets, allowing for no more than 2 people in each.

The cabins share a camp kitchen with a wood fire (fire wood not supplied), BBQ, small gas oven and gas ring and is fully stocked with pots, pans & kettle, etc. a hot water sink for washing up (washing up liquid supplied), 2 separate small fridges with freezer compartments one for each of the cabins with cutlery, crockery & dish towels supplied and thoughtfully separated out for each cabin.

There are complementary tea, coffee and condiments supplied and a small carton of milk for when you first arrive and need that first cuppa whilst you settle in.

With a large table & chairs to sit and eat from and 2 relaxing armchairs to relax in on an evening, the camp kitchen is both welcoming and practical.

Each cozy cabin has a queen bed (all linen supplied including 2 towels) along with 2 chairs, side tables, and a suitcase holder for your convenience.

Each has a diesel heater with remote control for the cooler times, along with a fan & evaporative cooler for the warmer days.

There are USB points to charge your mobiles along with surround sound, however hair dryers are not allowed or any other electrical equipment with heating elements as the cabins are totally off grid and reliant on solar & gas for power. Please note CPAP machines can be and have been used in the cabins.

The cabins are known as eco glamping cabins because they are totally off grid and bring a little glamour to everyday camping!

Each has their own veranda with chairs to sit and relax on an evening or to enjoy your first coffee in the morning and are divided off from each other by discrete screens, making them private and relaxing.

There are rainwater tanks and a small garden area to the cabin sides, as well as a small clothesline with pegs which can be found at the back of each cabin along with hammocks hung between the trees to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the peaceful surrounds.

The camp kitchen outdoor seating area has a table, with chairs & benches, set discreetly amongst a group of bushes, where you can enjoy the outdoors with seclusion from the rest of the campsite.

The communal campsite amenities block is a short stroll over a bridge and contains timed showers (5 minutes), toilets, several lockable (bring your own padlock) power boxes for charging mobiles & other devices and again no hair dryers etc. as they are also totally off grid. However, there is a coin operated hairdryer for campers to use ($1 & 50c accepted).

There is a small laundry attached to the side of the amenities block with washing machine & large sink – small cold-water washes only. It is coin operated $1 & $2 coins accepted, with a drying area by the side of the laundry where campers/cabin residents can hang their clothes to dry.
